Someday.

Two stunning blue rubies shone up at the sky, watching the glimmering stars. The precious stones were covered by dark lashes as a girl blinked.

The eyes remained closed as the brown haired angel thought, as she often did when letting the current take her places. She was in her element, and totally comfortable lying at the bottom of her boat.

She shivered. It was getting colder, so the water bender decided to head home. She sat up and started to control the water, pulling the boat around ice flows and in the direction of home.

"Tara, wake up!" A young girl was sitting in an igloo beside her aunt. Katara stirred.

"Mmm..." She moaned as she stretched. "G'morning, Kaia. Where's Sokka?"

"Daddy went fishing with Grandpa." The little girl informed her.

"And where's your mommy?" Katara asked. Kaia shrugged.

"Donno." The three year old jumped off the bed and ran to the dresser to help her aunt choose an outfit. Soon enough, there were clothes everywhere.

"Okay, Kaia, I think that's enough. Choose one you already pulled out." Katara stood up and picked up the clothing.

"This one!" Kaia picked up Katara's favorite outfit, one she had had for years.

She got dressed, fixed her hair, and brought Kaia outside to find Suki.

"Kaia!" Suki called to her daughter as she came around the corner. "There you are!"

Kaia hid behind Katara's legs, giggling.

In a few moments, she was in her mother's arms.

"So, Katara, are you going with your brother and father to the discussion between the nations? Aang with be there." Suki teased.

Katara laughed. "Maybe. I'm still thinking about it."

"Well, you should. At least you won't be woken up by this little one while you're there." Kaia giggled as her mother mentioned her.

"You're not going?"

"No, it's too much for Kaia. But you should go, Katara. It would be good for you."

"Mommy, my tummy's talking." Kaia poked her stomach as it growled, making her mother laugh.

"Lunch time!" Suki started to walk away. "See you, Katara."

"Bye, Tara!"
